Hii!!! My name is Lisa. I specialize in Wedding, Portrait, Family and Event Photography serving Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax, Bowmanville, Kawarthas and GTA+ for over 10 years. I recently added north east Ontario locations to my list after buying a 72 acre cottage in North Frontenac with my husband.

 

Now servicing towns including Peterborough, Marmora, Madoc, Kaladar, Arden, Ardoch, Sharbot Lake, North Fontenac, South Frontenac, Central Frontenac and surrounding area+!

 

 I just got married last June. (yay!! finally me!) It was the most surreal moment and now I know how all my wedding clients feel. Steve is a true gem and I couldn't have asked for a better partner on this crazy journey we call life.

Back in 2014 I made the leap at 23 years old quitting my Monday to Friday job to go full time with photography and have never looked back since.  In the last 10 years I have had the pleasure of photographing over 225+ weddings, over 350+ family sessions and countless memories/events. My goal as your photographer is to not only capture all the best and fleeting moments throughout our sessions, events and weddings but at the same time have fun and blend right in. I love to laugh with my clients, be silly and am pretty well down for anything. I've been known to crawl into lakes and prickly bushes to get the perfect shot. Let's just say I am a little out of the box and am always open to new adventures! Some people also call me a part time wedding coordinator.

 

Some More fun info on my life!

• I own two beautiful doggos. 17 year old Shiz Poo (Sasha) & a 5 year old Nova Scotia Duck Toller (Penny)

• I absolutely love the outdoors, hiking, camping and most of all fishing.

• We live in Oshawa but try to spend as much time at our property up north in the great outdoors exploring when we can!

• I started a second photography company in 2020, all about the outdoors and since then my images have been on the cover of Ontario Out of Doors Magazine, printed with OFAH and the the 2024 Fish and Wildlife Ontario Fish Regulations!

• I love wine and midday naps.

• And I love to enjoy life to its fullest. We only live once.

My goals for our sessions/your big day:

​

• Dogs (any animal) are always welcomed.

• Candids are super important to me. I want you to be as present as can be.

• For sessions, I aim to get that nice smile at the camera family photo, but after that lets have fun! Jump in puddles, run in circles, laugh, play. etc! Let your kids be kids and 100% them.

• I can help create your timeline for the day, I know a wedding day like the back of my own hand.

• Sunset/Golden hour photos are a must. However, don't be sad if you have a cloudy day- some of my most favourite photos have been on rainy cloudy days.

• Don't worry, I will direct you during portrait time. But more fun and less posey.

• I always have a handful of clear bubble umbrellas on me just incase!

• I'm not scared to climb into lakes, tall grass, climb trees or hop fences for that perfect shot!
