I first met Rikki while photographing a wedding at Royal Ashburn Golf Course. She currently works as one of the event coordinator's there. As the season continued I kept seeing her more and more and she became a good go to at the venue. She truly is remarkable at what she does.
As the season continued it seemed as though half my weddings were at Ashburn this past year and I wasn't complaining since it is one of my favourite spots. While waiting on the Ceremony to start at one of my last fall weddings of the season, Rikki approached me and Rev. Norman Martin (the best Reverend) and expressed she just got engaged over the weekend. We were delighted and FINALLY, it was her turn. She then looked at me and said "I'll be contacting you!".
Fast forward to their consultation, I was able to hear all about the two of them and their engagement. We chatted for a bit and at the end of the meeting they were booked on my calendar. A few weeks ago we had the chance to photograph their engagement session. The session consisted of constant belly laughs, staying warm and baring the wind. Needless to say in -15 weather, they were troopers!
To Ryan & Rikki, I cannot wait for your big day. I feel honoured that you two chose me to capture such an amazing moment in both your lives. p.s: sorry for making you almost wipe out in the photos below..(well I guess its kinda Ryans fault):P.
Please enjoy their session below as you stay warm and cozy on your couch.
